FIRST BLOG POST EVER!

This blog is my lazy, self-absorbed way of letting everyone know what I am up to. It may be more boring than your average blog entries, but it also may be more fantastically AWESOME!

So…Seth and I were married Saturday. It isn’t every day that you become a newlywed (unless you have a chronic divorce problem.) I got to see some amazing friends, whom I’ve missed a lot. Still, I wish I would have had more time to visit with all of them. I had a sleep over with them the night before I was married, and I’ve realized how much I miss them.

Random: I made a temple worker cry after the sealing. Whoops.

The sealing was pretty darn neat. The sealer was a rather fun, verbose man that baptized my grandparents. I am glad he was able to marry us! Poor Seth is stuck with me forever now. Bwahahaha. Afterwards, my professional photographer/sister took a gazillion pictures. She has a tendency to make even ugly people look dang good. However, I am positive AT LEAST ten people told her to take a picture of my shoes. Did I mention my shoes? They were super high and not in the least bit comfortable.

(SHAMELESS PLUG FOR MY SISTER!!) Go see her work at tianagodfrey.com or check out Tiana Godfrey Photography on facebook. She is cheap and as talented as da best out dere.

For the reception, my ingenious cousins dressed up as Harry Potter characters, which was probable THE COOLEST OF ALL TIME. I was pleasantly surprised at their sapid choosing of characters. I caught a glimpse of Bonny Olsen trying to draw a lightning scar on Andrew Olsen’s forehead with a sharp pen, which may just cause a real scar. Wouldn’t that be nice?

However, now the reception cheesecake has been eaten and we have returned to Provo, Seth has gone back to school, and I have gone back to work. The cruel and tedious HIPAA requirements are the sole topic of my writing. By the way, I really am lucky. I enjoy having a “real” job.

Life is magnificent. I married my best friend; I have a super supportive family, perfect friends, a writing career, and cheesecake in my freezer. Life is good, yo.
